The Killing Jars
Project Description:
The strategy for this project is two-fold; firstly, we will create awareness of Dan Neil’s newest novel “The Killings Jars,” in the consumer marketplace in Canada and the United States. While at the same time generating the interest of major publishing and film production companies in “The Killing Jars,” along with Mr. Neil’s upcoming novels.
Methodology: Working with our public relations team in Vancouver and Seattle, we identified the appropriate editors and publications to launch a PR campaign commencing in Q3/Q4 of 2007. Initial discussions with potential production companies, directors and casting companies in both Vancouver and Los Angeles are ongoing. The objective is to foster a production of this novel rich in Canadian content, during 2008.
Yaletown Group is working with Mr. Neil as he prepares to release several more novels in 2008.

Mindbusters Leisure Products
Project Description: The objective of this project was to create the brand for a new gaming company in order for them to develop relationships with both NASCAR and Darrell Waltip Motor Sports. Our tasks involved develop a marketing presentation to secure licensing rights with both parties for a new Nascar branded stock car trivia board game.
Result:Working with GMR Marketing in Charlotte NC we created the presentation, which helped MLP obtain licensing rights with both NASCAR and Darrell

Waltrip Motor Sports. The market research we provided also helped identify and retain distribution into key markets for the product along with managing the relationships within the NASCAR industry on behalf of the client. YTG created the Brand identity for MLP, plus worked with a Singapore based manufacturing company in facilitating production of the board game.
The final phase of the project is focused on creating showcase materials for the upcoming toy show in New York city as well as update the MLP website with the newly formed Brand Identity. |
